| Note | DURAND - Mrs. Marie P. Durand, aged 91, of Grand Rapids, passed away on August 2, 2009 at Hospice House of Holland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Durand in 1970, and by her sisters, Eleanore Schlaudt and Paula Pierson. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Jack Pierson of Big Rapids; nieces and nephews, Karen Bregg (Kristin and Peter, Sarah, Justin) of Wisconsin, Jim and Nancy Schlaudt (David and Alicia, Stacie, Mark) of Rockford, Steve and Patti Schlaudt (Katie and Tori) of Holland, and Polly and John Byers of Cedar Springs. Marie worked for the Kent County Health Department for 25 years as a Dietitian and Nutritionist. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
