Doug was born on January 2, 1951 to Robert and Dorothy Glaser in Detroit, Michigan. He married Cheryl Degeneffe on May 9, 1970.

Doug enjoyed music, sharing meals, making jokes, and welcoming new friends. His charisma and humor brought much joy to many. Doug could be found on the weekends behind a microphone with a harmonica in his hand leading his band and bringing new life to well-known Blues & Rock hits. He spent many joyful days at their residence in Florida with a community of family and great friends. Among his hobbies were singing; playing the harmonica; organizing and marketing in his bands; gardening; home improvement; and tinkering with the latest technology and gadgets. Doug enjoyed being with his wife and family, especially camping and going to the movies.

Doug is survived by his wife, Cheryl Glaser; his children Kristen (Matt) Warner, Stephanie (Patrick) Brown, and Doug (Krystal) Glaser; 8 grandchildren, Easton and Riley Dutkiewicz, Kate & Kyle Warner; Wyatt and Jake Brown; Jordan and Logan Glaser; and his sister Kathy McKinnie.
